my business turns one!


I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but Meg Cahill Photography is officially one!


This time last year, I decided to go all in on a dream that had been quietly growing for years. What started as a hobby slowly became a passion, and that passion has now turned into my job, something I still have to pinch myself about.


Looking back over the past year feels surreal. There have been early mornings, late nights, happy tears (and not-so-happy ones), plenty of learning curves, and so many unforgettable moments behind the lens.

What I've loved...


This year has brought me so many opportunities I never imagined. I’ve loved capturing a variety of different niches, from weddings and couples to sports and events, each one pushing me creatively in new ways.


I’ve met so many amazing people along the way and had the chance to visit new places, each with its own story to tell. And most importantly, I’ve loved the freedom and independence that comes with working for myself, building something that truly feels like mine.


What I’ve come to realise over this past year is that photography is so much more than just taking pictures. It’s about capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. The quiet glances, the laughter, and the in-between moments are what tells the real story.


I feel incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted me to capture their memories and be part of such special moments. Your support has meant everything and this is only the beginning.
